SealFix 930 is a special mortar developed for sealing injection boreholes. The mortar is stable, shrinkage-compensated, and features a delayed setting time. Due to its creamy, soft-plastic consistency, this mortar is particularly easy and convenient to work with, including with pumps and injection tools. SealFix 930 is based on the proven Cembond and is internally hydrophobized. Once set, the mortar is no longer wetted by water, meaning it can no longer absorb or transport water, and thanks to Cembond-956, it adheres extremely firmly to practically all load-bearing concrete or stone substrates.
SealFix-930 consists of a powder component and a specially formulated mixing liquid. For application, mix 10 parts powder with 3 parts liquid thoroughly; it can then be used immediately without any waiting time. Freshly mixed mortar is workable for approximately 90 minutes. Application using suitable injection guns and injection pipes matching the borehole diameter is particularly time- and cost-efficient. This ensures that even deep boreholes are filled cleanly, quickly, and, most importantly, completely. Water is sufficient to clean the tools and equipment used. Working time approx. 90 minutes at 20°C Setting time 24 hours Volumization approx. 3-5% The A (powder) component of the mortar contains cement. In combination with water, it reacts highly alkaline and is a strong irritant to skin and mucous membranes. The liquid component is completely non-hazardous. Contact of the mortar with eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided during application. The products are non-flammable, but the mixing liquid is sensitive to frost. Stored in a cool, dry place, SealFix 930 has a shelf life of at least 12 months.
