Low-viscosity injection resin for consolidation and stabilization, as well as a capillary-blocking horizontal barrier
HydroSoil-517 is a reactive binder with very low viscosity. The product is used to consolidate and seal porous building materials as well as to stabilize soil and fine-grained sand. The product is pre-formulated and ready to use.
After injection or introduction/mixing with soil/sand, HS-517 cures through contact with the trace amounts of water always present in the substrate to form tough, highly chemically resistant polyureas with excellent adhesive properties.
The product is not intended for crack injection. However, HydroSoil-517 can be used very successfully to stabilize, consolidate, and seal porous, leached, and friable mortar and similar structures in mineral building materials, or to create horizontal barriers against rising damp in porous building materials. Application is carried out according to standard injection methods via injection ports (so-called "packers") arranged in a grid.
