Solvent welding agent for flexible foil joints

The HydroFlex 275 waterproofing system is an elastic foil sealant for sealing construction and expansion joints in structural and civil engineering, component connections, and wide cracks.

Silipox Construction Adhesive 826 is used to bond HydroFlex sealing foils. Silipox Construction Adhesive 826 is not suitable for the flexible connection of foil joints.

All longitudinal and transverse connections between HydroFlex® tapes are made using HydroFlex 275-S. The HydroFlex® welding agent is a one-component, colorless, viscous liquid that creates a virtually inseparable bond between HydroFlex® foils. The tapes to be bonded are overlapped by approximately 5 cm in the bonding area, coated with the welding agent, joined immediately, and briefly weighted down. The welding agent reacts with the polymer, and the welded joint can be subjected to stress after a short time.

IMPORTANT: The HydroFlex® welding agent is not suitable for bonding the tapes to other substrates.
