A protective coating against contamination with injection resins Through pre-treatment with Trennfix 480, contamination from injection resins on concrete or painted surfaces can be removed quite easily by washing off with water. Costs for the often very laborious removal of cured resin residues are saved. Trennfix-480 is a polymer dissolved in water. The product forms temporary barrier layers on all water-resistant surfaces – including coatings – that prevent or strongly restrict the adhesion of film-forming substances to these substrates. Dried films of Trennfix-480 are water-soluble and can be removed by washing off with water – particularly easily and quickly with pressure jet equipment or by brushing off. Any contamination is removed at the same time. Trennfix-480 is ready for use in the supplied form and is applied by brushing, rolling on with paint rollers, or spraying in the case of large surfaces.
Consumption depends on the roughness and absorbency of the substrate; an average value (on smooth-formed concrete) of approx. 200 g/m2 should be expected. For the release agent to function reliably, it is necessary for the dried product to form a non-porous film on the building material surface. To avoid gaps and to ensure faster drying of the applied layers, it is advisable for many substrates – especially including rough plaster surfaces, highly absorbent substrates, bush-hammered concrete, etc. – to apply the product thinly, but in two to three work steps.
