HydroBloc Polygrout-650 – Polyurethane gel for curtain injections (25 kg)

Concentrated PUR gel as a highly elastic, swellable sealant. HydroBloc Polygrout-650 is a hydrophilic, water-reactive PU prepolymer. The product is easily miscible with water. This spontaneously creates emulsions with very low viscosity that set quickly into highly elastic hydrogels. The reaction products are water-containing plastics. They are mechanically stable, elastic, tear-resistant, and swell in a defined manner upon contact with water. Their adhesion to almost all substrates is excellent. At mixing ratios of HydroBloc-650 to water < 1:4, the mixture expands to form fine-celled foams. The foam volume depends on the amount of water mixed in, reaching its maximum at a ratio of Polygrout-650 to water of 1:1. Reaction products with water proportions > 1:4 react to form homogeneous products. The strength of the reaction products decreases as the water content increases. Optimal results are achieved with mixtures of 5 to 10 parts water to one part HydroBloc-Polygrout 650. Mixtures with more than 15 parts water to one part Polygrout-650 are no longer usable. HydroBloc Polygrout 650 is mixed with water and injected using a high-pressure process. The rapid reaction between resin and water generally necessitates the use of injection pumps with suitable or adjustable mixing ratios for the two components, base resin and water. Mixing itself takes place directly at the injection point by bringing both components together in a static mixer as the mixing element. Additives to the resin component are not necessary. HydroBloc-Polygrout 650 is easy to process and simple to handle.
