HydroBloc Microfoam 510 – Water-stop foam, 1K injection foam (10.5 kg)

HydroBloc Foam Resin 510 is a classic 1K injection foam with high reactivity. The 1K resin is activated with an accelerator (HydroCat 514) and then reacts very quickly with water, while expanding significantly, to form an elastic and dimensionally stable PU foam with fine, largely closed cells that does not shrink during curing.

Typical applications

Sealing injections; preferably as a rapid water stop for strong, pressurized water flows in joints, cracks, crevices, and fissures in civil engineering, tunneling, or for the consolidation/stabilization of rubble and loose sand.

Processing

HydroBloc Foam Resin 510 should be activated (accelerated) prior to processing. The amount added depends on the desired reaction time. 1–4% relative to the base resin is generally sufficient. The water-stop foam can thus be very easily adapted to all structural requirements. Due to the highly effective activators, the product is very sensitive to contact with water in any form and reacts even with moisture in the air. Accelerated (activated) 510 is therefore no longer shelf-stable and should be processed soon.
