Cembond MF 1041 is the ultimate paint for interior and exterior use. This water- and dirt-repellent paint remains brilliantly white for years while ensuring a healthy indoor climate. Cembond MF 1041 can also be applied to damp walls and actively acts against mold growth.

The dirt-repellent paint is decorative and at the same time a protection for facades and interior surfaces. Cembond is suitable for all mineral building materials. Cembond mineral paint is perfectly suited for high humidity, damp substrates, wet rooms, and areas highly prone to mold. Cembond sets through the hydraulic reaction of the cementitious binder, but without forming a film. Therefore, Cembond mineral paint does not hinder water vapor diffusion and does not peel off.

Substrate requirements The substrate must be clean, stable, and free of separating substances. Weathered concrete or mortar surfaces and highly absorbent substrates must be pre-treated with a special primer. The primer consists of 1 part Cembond 956 (the super additive) and 3 parts water.

Application Cembond MF 1041 is a dry mixture (powder) that is mixed with water. For this, you need a bucket and an electric mixer (drill with a mixing attachment). For 10 kg of powder, you need approx. 3.5 - 4.0 kg of water. First, create a paste and then add the remaining water gradually. The ready-to-apply paint must rest or mature for approx. 5 minutes after mixing. Then stir briefly once more and use immediately. The ready-to-apply paint is thixotropic and does not splatter. If the viscosity increases after some time, stir briefly again; this reverses the effect. Depending on the substrate and the tool used, the paint can also be further diluted. Cembond paint has excellent coverage, and only rougher or visually high-quality surfaces require a second coat. The bright, pure white paint can also be tinted if required. Our ARCAN Mixol concentrates are available for this purpose. After 3 hours, the setting process begins; the paint becomes stiffer and must no longer be diluted or processed.
