Cembond M 947 flex – flexible sealing slurry for surface waterproofing

Cembond M 947 is a flexible surface waterproofing system. CEMBOND 947-flex surface waterproofing is a sealing system for mineral surfaces. The waterproofing against water is based on the unique Cembond polymer technology. The Cembond polymer gives Cembond sealing slurries their outstanding surface waterproofing properties. The Cembond polymer reacts chemically with the cement, creating an organo-mineral polymer structure that has excellent strength and durability. Thanks to this cross-linking reaction, the Cembond sealing slurry also adheres to damp mineral substrates.

Waterproofing membranes made of CEMBOND 947-flex are highly flexible, organo-mineral films with excellent low-temperature flexibility. Cembond 947-flex is crack-bridging, but large cracks and joints must be secured separately with HydroFlex sealing tapes. The product is recommended as waterproofing under trafficable areas, for the internal waterproofing of concrete containers, and generally for surfaces prone to cracking. In a special formulation, M-947 can also be used as a waterproofing system for road surfaces on concrete bridges (“bridge deck membrane”) directly beneath mastic asphalt.
