Bentonite-based swelling paste for the installation of swelling tapes

BentoMastic 307 is a water-swelling sealant made from natural bentonite. It dries quickly and has good adhesion to the substrate.

BentoMastic 307 is used for the reliable sealing of construction joints in concrete, for sealing wall penetrations in areas in contact with the ground, for joint filling in precast elements, and for similar applications where the swelling effect of activated bentonite can prevent the ingress of water into the structure.

  • Colour : Dark grey to dark green
  • Density : Approx. 1.65 g/ml
  • Bentonite content : 70 %
  • Labelling : Flammable (“F”)

The material contains flammable solvents (flash point 21°C) and is labelled as flammable. During application, fire and open light must be avoided. Contact with skin and mucous membranes should be avoided; in case of eye contact, flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and then it is essential to consult a specialist.

BentoMastic 307 should be stored in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children. Fire, open light, and radiant heat sources must be avoided. Storage together with food and luxury food items is not permitted.
