The natural effect of the joint fillings and pavement surfaces is not altered by treatment with BLOCSIL 910. However, BLOCSIL prevents stains, adhesions, and tire marks. The clean surface visually enhances the areas and associated objects and saves costs on time-consuming cleaning work. Not only in private areas, but also increasingly in public traffic areas, pedestrian zones, at public buildings, and much more... BLOCSIL 910 impregnates, solidifies, and hardens the concrete surface. Wear caused by abrasion (and thus dusting and sand erosion) is prevented. Oil, grease, fuel residues, and other dirt—even chewing gum residues—are much easier to remove from a surface treated with BLOCSIL.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eApplication\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBefore treatment with BLOCSIL, the paved areas must be dry, clean, and free of dust. The sand used for the joint filling should comply with relevant standards and guidelines (correct grain distribution!). Any dirt and growth must be removed. No special expertise is required for the application of BLOCSIL 910. The product is applied generously and evenly to the clean paved area, most easily by pouring with a watering can equipped with a fine rose head. After pouring, excess material must be immediately and thoroughly scraped off the surface of the slabs and stones using a rubber squeegee (preferably with a foam rubber blade). This technique ensures the necessary deep saturation of the joints and ensures that no excess material remains on the stone surfaces. BLOCSIL must not be applied during rain or at temperatures below +5°C. Freshly treated areas should be protected from rain for at least 12 hours. Protect adjacent components from contamination with BLOCSIL by covering or taping them off, or wash off the fresh product immediately with plenty of clean water. Once set, BLOCSIL is so resistant that it can hardly be removed from most surfaces without leaving residues. BLOCSIL is a reactive, water-emulsified synthetic resin with an integrated hardener. The product reacts upon contact with sand or concrete and, after the water has evaporated, quickly turns into a hard, practically completely insoluble, and absolutely colorless plastic.
